Located on the plateau of Saint-Emilion, Bordeaux, France, the vineyards of Château Jean Voisin spread over 1.5 acres of red clay and sand. The 2004 Saint Emilion has a soft nose of tobacco and ripe berries; medium-bodied with austere fruit at first, but excellent texture and smoothness. With well integrated tannins this wine improves with time. Cellar aging recommended for 5-6 years, making the end of 2009 a perfect time to open a bottle to enjoy the austerity and elegance of this top quality Bordeaux.
