The Maradea Riserva Ciro' comes from the the ancient Mediterranean town of Ciro' Marina, grown in white clay soil where olives and grapes have been cultivated by hand for thousands of years. The Ciro' is made from the Gaglioppo grape, harvested in October and fermented for 15 months, then aged in French Oak for 8-10 months. The wine has deep-ruby color with intense and delicate aroma having reminiscences of dried fruits, vanilla and tobacco. The taste is dry, full and pleasantly tanic.
